I am an AANP board-certified family nurse practitioner. My philosophy as a family nurse practitioner is to provide high-quality, safe, and effective holistic care. I maintained a grade point average of 4.0 while completing 45 credit hours of advanced knowledge in courses such as advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, and physical assessment. I also completed 600 clinical hours of advanced clinical training in areas including primary care, gastroenterology, emergency room, pediatrics, and pain management while working as a home health nurse. During the course of my nursing career, I have accrued nearly nine years of nursing experience in areas such as home health, travel nurse, float pool, emergency room, cardio-thoracic, and neurology. My experience as well as my advanced education and clinical training have given me essential professional skills such as advanced critical thinking and leadership skills to practice high-quality care safely. I have also been consistently praised by my employers, instructors, and peers for having a pleasant attitude with the ability to work well with all types of personalities. Since beginning my journey in the field of nursing, my motivation for professional growth has led me to exceptional projects and experiences. I am grateful for a profession I’m passionate about and am proud to share examples of my greatest work.
